Good morning everyone

I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend and are ready for some more home learning.

Assembly

Assembly

Today’s assembly is from NSPCC. It is hosted by Ant and Dec and is about supporting children with their worries, giving them trusted adults to talk to and also introducing them to Childline as an additional option for support. Trusted adults may direct the children to Childline to give them an extra adult to speak to, or it may be that there is something the child feels they cannot tell anyone else, for whatever reason.

The first link is a short introduction from me, then the second link takes you to the YouTube video. There is advice on how to access the YouTube video in the comments section of the introduction video.

Dance

Below is a link to the Black Country Dance Hub who are choreographing dances in weekly blocks.

From the website:

‘We’re offering a weekly on-line dance programme for children in school and at home. The project offers an original piece of choreography shared over four weekly sessions, which can be learnt at a time and location to suit you and your children. And to boot your children can be filmed and form part of a dance film at the end of the project, should they wish, but don’t worry if they don’t, it is optional. We’re working with 2 professional dance artists to choreograph the dance piece so that it is suitable for different ages.’

Dojo message Monday 20th April

Good morning everyone!

I hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter break and enjoyed some fresh air. Now it’s time to start our home learning again. I can’t wait to see all of your hard work and enthusiasm. Please remember to send photos of your work if you can, I’d love to see!

You should have all received your new learning packs. Some may have collected it from school, some may have downloaded it from the website. I will also attach both packs onto Class Story if anybody needs them (for the first weeks’ worth of work). The packs will last for two weeks and are named group 1 and group 2.  The groups have stayed the same since before the Easter break. Below is an outline of what work is required today.
