Academy Council

Academy Councillors serve a crucial role in overseeing the school’s strategic direction, policies, and financial decisions. Made up of parents and members of the community, they work collaboratively with the school leadership to ensure accountability, foster a positive learning environment, and contribute to the overall success and well-being of the students.

Academy Councilors meet six times a year. All members of the Council are expected to make a formal visit to the school each year to monitor the impact of their decisions and the progress the Headteacher is making towards securing school improvement. All meetings and visits focus on one of three areas: Culture, Children and Community.

In addition to the Academy Council, the Academy Trust has appointed 6 Governors to serve as Company Directors (or trustees). The Board of Directors meet at least once per year for an Annual General Meeting. Please follow the link for more information.
